As a regular visitor of The National Trust I found that there was a gap in the marketing towards young adults, People aged around 16-25, to show the National Trust locations as more than historical buildings and land. Lot’s of the locations offer activities such as water-sports and cycle hire which are not as advertised as I believe they could be. The goal to create an app similar to a fitness/learning progress app where you can share it between friends. My aim with this project was to create an app design which would appeal to younger adults to enable them to easily see the outdoor activity opportunities near them to widen the visitor age range at these locations.
Starting with low-fidelity drawings of my screens I planned the wireframes and a user-flow for the screen pages. I created a brand logo for my seperate app ‘On The Go’ which I could then incorporate into my screens designed on Illustrator. Once I had finalised my still designs I began moving them to Adobe XD where I made them high-fidelity to create a realistic design I could share and photograph.
